KLAARA 2020 - 2nd Conference on easy-to-read language Research

We regret to inform you that the KLAARA 2020 conference planned for 30 August and 1 September 2020 has now been officially postponed due to the situation caused by COVID-19. However, we are pleased to inform you that the conference will be held with the same keynote speakers on August 30-31, 2021 at the same venue.

Already accepted papers will be included for this event, unless otherwise requested. The confirmed contributors will be contacted individually in this regard. There will also be an opportunity to submit additional contributions. A new call for papers will be launched in August 2020.

The multidisciplinary KLAARA conference is the venue for researchers interested in the study of EtR languages and accessible communication. The conference aims to advance research and networking on modified language used for communication with people who have various difficulties in understanding standard forms of language. Studies from different disciplinary perspectives (social sciences, linguistics, special education, visual communication, translation studies, information design) will be presented and discussed.
